Summary:

• We meet at the shop daily and travel to job sites
• Valid PA license is a MUST!
• Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays
• Salary: $20-$27/per hour based on experience and merit + Benefits
• 3-5 Years experience in irrigation

Description:

An experienced irrigation technician in our company will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining efficient irrigation systems that optimize water usage while promoting healthy plant growth. Additionally, they will troubleshoot system issues, conduct routine inspections, and provide recommendations for improvements to ensure that all irrigation processes meet industry standards, and our customers’ needs.

Job Duties:

• Manage the execution of irrigation projects, planning labor requirements, and equipment requirements
• Testing the soil and vegetation to determine irrigation needs.
• Mapping out areas for irrigation installation.
• Digging trenches and installing pipes and lines.
• Installing pumps and electrical timers.
• Complete and submit daily paperwork reporting time and job costs
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
• Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner

Work Conditions:

• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, and materials
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift

• Work safely near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
• Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
• Flexible working hours including occasional weekend work
